MEDIA AND CULTURAL MEDIATIONS

Descripton of the Research Group

The media and cultural mediations research group has arisen from the broadening of the narrower theme of visual anthropology for visual and sound anthropology, virtual anthropology and anthropology of the media and cultural mediations. It focusses its research activities and cultural production on artistic mediation, interculturality and technological mediation, local development and culture. It pays particular attention to participative audio-visual and digital research methodologies, the shared building of knowledge and issues of hypermobility in contemporary society
