The Center for Migration and Intercultural Relations Studies (CEMRI) is a scientific research and development unit, accredited  by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and has the Open University (UAb) as its host institution.

It currently has 35 integrated researchers spread across 4 main areas of research involving the study of migration and intercultural relations.
